Unlock costs

Candy needed for a cost-4 starter:

Passive ability
30 🍬
Cost reductions
15 / 40 🍬
Same-species egg
20 🍬
The price only drops once you have hatched enough Nacli eggs: 18 🍬 after 15 hatches, 15 🍬 after 30 hatches, 10 🍬 after 60 hatches.
Friendship needed per candy
100

Expensive starters ask for fewer candies, but earn them far more slowly: Nacli needs 100 friendship per candy, while a cost-1 starter earns one every 25.

Do not bait yourself into thinking this is a top tier mon because it *used* to be, despite what the community rankings regretfully seem to suggest. I promise there are much better and more reliable ways to beat Etern than bringing a mon that does 6% damage per turn to it. Sand Tomb+Salt Cure does a respectable amount, but still less than just bringing a Curse mon, and for a lower price you can bring something like CM Probopass or Eerie Impulse Electrode that also cheeses Etern.

Fell off a lot after Salt Cure nerf. Slightly better with unlocks as Sand Tomb literally does more damage than it now. Cool bulky Stealth Rock setter but really mid at stalling now, chip is chip ig but it's sooooo slow at it and setting Sandstorm does the same damage. There's MUCH better Etern cheese ways on mons that do more on the other 199 waves. Besides, if all you're after is still trying to make Salt Cure work, it's easy enough to get wild that paying 2-4 for it on starter select is not remotely worth it anymore.

Great mon for classic mode eternatus stall. Literally just use a tanky immune mon and use salt cure with garganacl
